Beyonce has been named the highest paid woman in music in 2017, according to a yearly Forbes list on monday.
The pop star beat Adele and Taylor Swift to the number one spot. This is mostly due to her Lemonade album and world tour.
Forbes put the singer’s income at 105 million dollars which came from record sales and her “Formation” concert tour. She also has her own Ivy park fashion line and other business interests.
Adele made second place with an estimated 69 million dollars.
Taylor Swift and Celine Dion made 3rd and 4th position respectively with 44 million dollars and 42 million dollars.
The list was compiled by Forbes after estimating pre-tax income for the 12 months from June 2016 to 2017 based on interviews with agents, managers, lawyers and some of the stars.
